A Trip

Draw a map, a route that may help you travel over the horizons in the stamped paper of my Butoh Dance is not an easy task, specially when four photographers that come from different cultures get together. This trip started in Venice with "Teatro delle Immagini" and my beginnings with master Kazuo Ohno. Afterwards other encounters, one of them with my friend Paolo Bottos, who accompanied me through Europe perpetuating essential moments of my shows with an exquisite and tenacious work. The trip continued with Tovako Nakayama who with the great niceness and generosity characterizing the culture of the rising sun, accompanied me and facilitated material that turned out to be essential for my travel. Time and its travels conducted me up to the Perito Moreno Lake (Bariloche). Peter Franke put into his lens the harmony of my dance in the landscapes. The journey stops today for an instant in Buenos Aires with my new shows "Butoh Tango" and "Butoh's Dreams",with Alicia Sanguinetti, Eduardo Grossman and Mabel Maio, who pictured han with heir masterly experience.

To all of them who support with their professionalism my steps, my goings and comings through the way of art that continues like life, I say....

Arigato.
