The Magic and Sensitive Japanese World

In this brand new experience actor and dancer Gustavo Collini, specialist in Japanese Butoh dance opens his creation fan. Theatre, dance, storytelling, objects, image and video are put together so as to shape a unique proposal which is to unfold a series of ancient Japanese stories.

The show opens with a film starring Soledad Silveyra and Horacio Ferrer who will take us by the hand into the special and mysterious world of Horai- a magical and sensitive reality that will set the audience into an amazingly auditory and visual journey.  Actress Stella Maris Closas will be leading us into each and every living story. As a proficient and wise teller she will master the stories as well as performing some of the characters; her impressive voice will carry the audience away into an otherworldly trip. Gustavo Collini is the one to bring the stories’ protagonists to life. His is a piece of the finest composition; and his impeccable dance undoubtedly shows the best of techniques.

The cinematic piece also takes up a leading part of the theatrical experience which complements the storytelling and sharpens the senses so as to inevitably trigger the viewers’ imagination.

Horai’s cryptic inhabitants are the guardians of the humanity dreams and intervene any time our creativity is at jeopardy. They are mysterious, sensual, ageless. The Horai wiseman – Horacio Ferrer- along with the messenger - Soledad Silveyra send an envoy- Stella Maris Closas- so as to recover the parallel lost world of imagination.

Horai: the Vision of the Intangible is a journey to the innermost part of the soul, a trip that cannot be grasped through reasoning. Coming up with the ultimate interpretation of the universe is eventually the viewer’s sole task. This is a 1 and ½ hour art exploration that abides by no rules, aiming only at displaying the vital essence of the human spirit and its truly magical folds.
